Concrete spraying machine SSB 05 is designed for spraying concrete and refractory mixtures in a so-called dry, eventually wet method. This machine works on the rotor principle. The SSB 05 gunite machine provides a gunite capacity of 0.5 – 7.1 m3/h and is suitable for small and medium-size jobs.
Concrete spraying machine SSB 05 is driven either by a two-speed electromotor with two output levels (DUO version), or by one-speed electromotor with fluent output regulation (COM-V, COM-F versions), eventually by an air turbine with fluent output regulation (COM-A). Its standard equipment includes a central lubrication system that ensures the automatic greasing of all abrasion-prone surfaces. The greasing process is either manual (lever), or automatic.
Depending on the nature of concrete used, a small, medium, or large dosing drum is employed. The small drum is recommended for the spraying of fine, dry and heavy mixtures (e.g. refractory concrete, fine prefabricated mixtures). For spraying in the so-called wet method, dosing drum MAXI (7,9 l) shall be used.
- usable for both wet and dry concrete spraying technology
- easy operation and maintenance of the machine
- output control (COM-F, COM-V models)
- belt drive to prevent damage to the drive in the event of a sudden machine stop
- long service life of consumption parts (sealing and wearing plates) ensured by the application of central lubrication system
- robust structure enables application in demanding conditions
Gunite machine SSB 05 works on the principle of pneumatic transport of concrete mixture.
The dry mixture for spraying or transportation is poured into the machine and smoothly fills the cylinders of the rotor below the hopper. To fill a mixture into the rotor more easily, a vibrator and a rippling are fitted in the hopper. The rotating movement of the rotor moves the mixture along by 180° in the clockwise direction. The mixture is thus blown out from individual cylinders of the rotor into transport hoses. As the mix passes through the blower into the transport hoses, lower pressure air is added to enhance the continuous flow of the material in the hoses. The hoses are equipped with spraying nozzles at the end, into which the mixing water is fed at the same time to wet the transported mixture. The required wetting of the mixture is controlled with the supply cock.
When the concrete mixture is applied in the so-called wet method, the hopper is filled in with the prepared wet mix. In principle, the mix passes through the machine in the same way as when spraying the dry mixture. A hose for the addition of chemical additives (e. g. accelerating admixture) is taken from the external dosing pump DC 200 to the spraying nozzle instead of mixing water.
The SSB 05 concrete spraying machine is manufactured in four basic designs, differing in the type of drive and output regulation.
The drive of the machine is solved by a two-speed electric motor or a one-speed electric motor with a frequency inverter enabling continuous output regulation. The basic output of the machine is determined by the size of the dosing rotor.

*) These are theoretical values only. The actual output depends on the design of transported mixture, the capacity of the source of the compressed air, the transport distance, and the diameter of the transport hose.
**) The data regarding the consumption of air is only approximate and depends on the momentary output of the machine, the transport distance, and the diameter of the transport hose.
